    Hi Jakub, congrats on the launch. I like the idea, I think I already saw another Google Sheet portfolio around.

    Just one thing, when I was checking your portfolio I thought that you were a designer. But in the About Me tab, you mention that you're a digital creative/marketer, so I was a bit confused if you are positioning yourself as a designer, marketer or something in between.

    Maybe starting first with the About Me tab would help. makes sense?

      I was also considering putting about me as a first tab. I will definitely do some testing with it. It's pretty easy to move tabs order around. I wasn't sure whether I want my (probably the biggest and most successful) project to come first or my about me page, which should be like resumé, where is a lot of reading required and no real image/gif content.

      And you're right. It's not a typical designer's portfolio that's why I put it under the "Site Design" category here on DN and not "Show DN". I don't position myself as a designer, although I believe I can achieve quite well design results with tools and technology that is available to masses. That was also one of the reasons why I decided to put it here and to gather feedback which I'm very grateful for it's coming quite along from the designer's community. This way I know there are still things I can improve and look into.

    Love this! Pushing a business tool to its extremes is a great description of creative potential. Reminds me of David Byrne playing in PowerPoint in the '00's.

    It seems like Google Slides would have been a better solution. The clickable nature of the cell grids made this a very distracting experience overall and hiding the different projects in worksheets means you will lose people who aren't familiar with spreadsheets.

      Hey Stuart,

      Thanks for your feedback. I believe Slides would do the job too, but they lack the interactivity I was looking for. They are a go-to solution for presentation in every sense, but that's what makes it different using Sheets. Also, the website should target/talk to people who are digital-savvy therefore I believe they're familiar with spreadsheets whether it's from Microsoft, Google or Apple software.

    Hello everyone!

    Creating your own website/online portfolio is always a big challenge. Because we want to present ourselves in the best possible way, it's always really easy to never be happy with the result, the direction it's going and after all that time you put into it, you're never really happy with it in the end and want to start from scratch again.

    My requirements were simple and straight-forward: - quick access - simple and fast content change when needed - interactivity on the basic level - no coding required

    Finally, after weeks and months of trying to find the most suitable platform/website builder for both simple layout without coding required, I ended up with... Google Sheets.

    If you're lucky enough you'll see my cursor floating over the cells. Feel free to comment literally anywhere on my new website.

    Feedback always much appreciated!

    PS: If this violates the rules of DN, I understand that and I won't have hard feelings for taking this down.
