I like this site, it's nice and clear and I'm actually quite tempted to get signed up but I work on Windows and can't see if I'd be able to do the course using it. I know most stuff is code editor but not sure about the emulators?

Has anyone here actually done this course as a designer and how did you get on? I often fear that even though I'm happy with HTML/CSS my blank mind for writing JS is going to make it a struggle.

My feeling with design code courses is they teach well, but they touch the surface of each topic. You can build what they show you in a very direct way, but if you want to do something different you might feel like you need more technical foundation. So I almost am sure, if you're like me, you need to take a separate JS or React course to fill in the gaps.
