Definitely like the filled in shapes for brightness: they always struck me as extremely out of place in the Control Center.

Visually, the new buttons seem less "polished", but they’re definitely far more tappable.

I’d love to see what the tap action on those buttons looks like: there was always a big inconsistency in the highlighted states between the icons and Air Drop.

    Solid change, overall.

why do you say the new buttons are 'far more tappable'?

are you referring to the white fill for the buttons above the brightness slider?

Well this is subjective of course but I've had more than one user response during various UX research phases that point to “ghost” or border only buttons being a little harder to tap. The stronger fill makes it look a little more button esque.

It's like the subtle button changes introduced in 7.1 to make certain sections more tappable.

thanks. if I were to guess I would have said the same thing as well. I thought you were referring to the removal of lines around the icons.
