    You're doing research on "how ~people~ use their home-screens", yet you are asking a bunch of designers who love to design things differently how they use theirs? Im not sure you will get any isight into how 99% of people use their home screens.

      No, I'm asking lots of people in lots of different forums but thought I'd then compare their answers with designers and developers to try and see if there are any discernible differences.
