    Nice! I tried to get them to release an official one when I worked there, but we decided to just release our own default themes instead that people could modify or read the code and learn from.

    Also that font you're using looks so close to Bookman Old Style I had to do a double take.

      Awesome. Thanks for the info and background. I sought out to create a boilerplate since there are so many on GitHub but none were of "Official" quality. With enough community feedback and response we can make the perfect tumblr starting theme similar to how the HTML5 Boilerplate turned out.

      I used Bitter :) and I agree it looks very similar.
