    This is the kind of idea that sounds nice conceptually (almost artistically) but when applied in the real world doesn't quite work.

    Business cards are the way they are because they are physical. Once contact information becomes digital, there is no need to keep the shape and proportion of the physical object. For instance, a business card has a back and a front side because it's a card. A digital business card doesn't really need a back side.

    As Shane mentioned, there's still a barrier between non-users and users of the app. You need to tell a person about the app, what it does and why it's more convenient than the existing solution.

    I'm not saying we should keep printing and having business cards, but if we're going to try something new, maybe we should drop the concept of business cards altogether.
