Some cool stuff here Paul (site wise and work wise).
Just as I was about to leave the website I realised that you could scroll down to see images of the projects. The home page doesn't scroll so I just presumed the work pages didn't either. I did think it was a bit strange that you just had a paragraph of text for every project but had decided to leave at that point anyway.
I wasn't keen on not having a link back to the homepage, it's frustrating. I've only now just realised that there are two different sites here too, follow.pm and works.pm, which is slightly confusing. Also only just got the connection with your name and the domain :)
I totally get that personal sites are meant to be a playground etc but I feel the navigation was just too confusing for me and I almost didn't get to see any of the work, which I guess is the main point of the website existing in the first place. I'd be worried too that a potential employer would view that as "bad UX" rather than me just trying something different. You won't be able to please everyone though!
As I said, some nice stuff here and I would be keen to check out any further iterations. I liked the Easter egg when resizing the screen...
