Visually very nice but after scrolling up and down and through those sliding reveal image I'm not really any the wiser what this is selling. For me there's too much focus on fancy transitions rather than providing proper insight; the preloader made me want to leave, you've got to ask yourself what is this site providing that users will be more than happy to sit there long enough for the content to load.

Reminds me of the top Flash sites from back in the day but as with Flash sites there is always a bit of a negotiation from an interaction perspective with areas demoing how to interact with the content. From a personal point of view, I don't like how much of the information is hidden behind + bubbles or reveal sliding images. There are areas which can be easily missed.

      Really? It's hardly vague.

"We are building co-processors made of biological neurons." With a big picture of said processor and a video/site to illustrate it's applications.

      What's not to get?

The point is in between the scroll jacking, the over the top transitions, animations and having to dig around to find out more information in hidden widgets this is potentially an accessibility and usability nightmare.

Possibly - But I disagree. Anything that's clickable is either highlighted/animated as such and for the click and scroll, it even demonstrates that as it comes into view. It feels like any possible usability issue has been addressed.

The context and content is clearly geared towards the tech savvy. Just because it isn't laid out like a word doc doesn't mean it's automatically bad. I totally understand your points - IMO this is a perfect candidate for such interactions. It helps tell a story and adds to the wow factor of the product.

          • I could have done without the scroll jacking though.
