What are your favorite pens/notepads for wireframing?

    My drawing board

    I have a painting a friend did on a thin wooden block, that I have repurposed into my official sketching board. (See above.)

    I prefer to print out dotted grids or device templates on 8.5 x 11. (Like you mentioned, it is comfortable to draw on.) I use a mix of pencils/pens.

    My two favorites are the Prismacolor Cool Grey markers, (which range from 10% to 100%), and a varied set of liners (like a Sakura Pigma Micron Set).

      This is more for the OP but here's a great article on using the Prismacolor markers and the ruler in the picture above.

      To answer the question: Behance Circa Dot Grid Paper (it handles markers very well) and an Alvin 0.5mm mechanical pencil. If I'm doing a lot of sketching I'll pull in the quilt ruler and Prismacolor markers.
