With all due respect:

I'm finding the text on this versión harder to read, the thread view is too narrow and the replies look very confusing.

I appreciate the purpose of the changes, but I think this version is not as good as the previous. The typography, for instance, despite of being a sans was really polished and detailed.

The icons in the front page make headlines hard to skim. My eyes wander all around the screen.

It does look better on my phone (which, btw, is not an iPhone, but a Nexus 4). Thanks for that.
