Unfortunately those are all very much true. I think we're born into an ignorant bliss of privilege, that we only understand once exposed to those who were not. I was told once that in the US if you're white and male then you're set for a job. Made me think that the world isn't how I used to perceive it growing up through the Benetton ads.
