Now that you mention it dark DN sounds incredible. Is there a dark HN?
Or what about making a dark skin for the curated apps like thenews.im?

    Just installed it. Looks awesome! Thanks for the link.
    edit: It's a bit glitchy for me. When I turn it off it turns dark mode back on when I revisit the site.

      Mh, yeah. Dark theme really could use way nicer dark colors, ex: Photoshop. Anyone up to collaborate on a "dark DN" theme together ? When done, we could submit it to DN, and maybe they will add it offically.
