    I've been hearing a lot of comments similar to "I'm never, ever buying anything from RealMac again.". Think that's why I've held off on signing up for Typed, even though it seemed nice (but again, their Mac app at least had nothing over the iA Writer app).

      Yea I don't wish them any malice, but the way they tried to launch Clear 2 really irked me, and their shitty solution to syncing problems in Ember (i.e. dropping features and finally the whole product) is enough to keep me away for good.

      I basically have no faith that they aren't going to come up with a "great new idea" in a few months and stop developing their current products, or try to charge me again for a new version that actually works.

        Not to mention the fact that when they first introduced ember they were asking for $49.99 dollars and their reason for justifying that was that they will continuously support it with updates.

        Reality has been different.
