    This is pretty frustrating. I bought Ember when it first came out, at full price (I have a feeling it was £39.99 when it first launched — I remember it being reasonably expensive but seemed to be ideal for what I needed), but there's always been some issue with it.

    First it was iCloud syncing being awful, so I switched to Dropbox syncing. That worked, and then they discontinued Ember for iOS. "OK, I guess", I thought.

    Except now Ember hangs and crashes almost every time I use it. I must've sent 50+ crash reports to them and always hoped that the next update would fix it. I can still use the app, but every 5 minutes it would hang for 20 seconds or so, often eventually completely crashing.

    I've had this issue for the last year or so, so I'm even less confident that it'll ever get fixed after this blog post. In the meantime I'll switch to a local library and hope that it stops freezing/crashing.
