Was exactly my first impression. Same concepts, etc. Strange they kinda hid the fact.

To be honest, I always thought you guys at Framer would eventually make something like this for the non-coding minds out there. (In another hand, I admit that all those great features from Framer, made me learn to code more quickly so I could use it comfortably)
Jozef Matas, over 7 years ago Yeah, it’s not clear from the website at all that it’s built on top of Framer. We were definitely thinking about mentioning it on the landing page at first but then we rather decided to write the whole blog post about it later (in which we want to explain how we built it, what helped us etc.) It seemed like a better idea than just piggy back on Framer mentioning it on the landing page.
In general, Framer is a huge inspiration for us and we probably wouldn’t be able to build Floid without it (or definitely not in 4 months).

Giovanni Galbiati, over 7 years ago Also heads up: the app doesn't validate on El Capitan for me. You should check the signing with spctl and see what's up to avoid the "Unidentified Developer" dialog.
Right click on the .app -> Open -> Open. The system will sign the binary for you ;)
It's not really clear from the site, but this app actually builds Framer prototypes. Pretty cool.
Although some parts of the site are a little over-inspired from the Framer site if you ask me, but hey.
