Not to mention the fact that ASO has great support and customer service.
For my small and low-traffic client sites, the $900/year for A Small Orange is far too much. DreamHost's $9/month (aka ~$120/year) is much more suitable for my needs.
Right, which is why I said it's good for low-storage/bandwith (shared plans, basically). I only pay $35/year for my portfolio, and even if I suddenly get way more popular that would like only need to go up to $60.

A Small Orange is good if you have low storage & bandwidth needs like I do. They also have a very logical UI and cPanel baked in.
I've also used DreamHost in the past. Their interface wasn't very pretty but it wasn't really hard to find things either. Plus they have a wiki that has articles on how to do just about everything they offer.
