    Crazy how they used Tumblr. Check out all the posts they created for this page: http://mcwhopper.com/archive I guess they are used for the language switcher?

      I'd love to see a design case study for how they used Tumblr. Also, why they used Tumblr (my guess is cause it's free).

        I doubt Burger King chose to use Tumblr because it's free, it's more likely they chose the platform because it's part of network and can be easily shared. A static site wouldn't be so easily shareable.

          How would that be any more shareable than share links on an external site? You can add a share function for Tumblr, even.

            Becasue it's actually PART of that network. It's a "page in their book" in other words, there are definite advantages to it. It can be algorithmically suggested to other parts of the network instead of solely relying on user-sharing.
