If this is real, it sounds like such an awesome option. Though I wonder how this would play out in practice (would no longer be able to get the small but helpful bits of information about time, battery, active app info, wifi connection, etc.)

      I just found the widgets easier to style. It's all css with Ubersicht

  I had the same question above. I figured I wouldn't be the only one. wifi connection isn't as needed on a quick glance basis for me, but battery is another good one.
  A cool approach would be to only show battery once it gets down to "alert" levels. Could apply the same function to wifi / BlueTooth, "only show if disconnected".
