Hard Drive Mysteriously Filling Up?

Had this problem as well. Turned off autosave will prevent the disk from filling up fast but you lose the autosave feature. Deleting it manually from time to time works.

  How did you turn off the autosave? Is this an OS thing? Cannot find it in Yosemite.
