Back when i registered it was open like only for 1 hour a day or something and I missed it for 3 weeks until finally I set an event in my calendar so I could register. This made it very special to me and I hate that now it's open all the time.
You can create another track for people who have their stuff posted by others like product hunt does you can be granted access by tweeting @producthunt
