    10K CAD looks like a low amount, but I guess the cost of living in Canada is way lower where ever they are based. It seems like they've already met their base pledge though.

      They are based in Toronto where the cost of living is pretty high. But I don't see why this kickstarter should cover their living expenses.

      What ever happened to people saving money before starting a venture?

        That's probably true, but I would have major reservations about putting money towards this kickstarter. They say they need this capital to hire machine learning engineers, which means that their predictive text and swipe text stuff isn't built out yet. That's probably by far the most complicated part of this keyboard, and where the most 'gotchas' are gonna come up.

        I don't think $10k or even $20k is gonna cover the dev time to solve those problems, but I could be wrong.
