Hello Cap, thanks for the AMA. How is the Etsy Design Team different from the other big companies, such as Amazon, Google, or smaller ones, such as Twitter, Square, etc? And in these different environments, how do designers grow differently (assuming on the individual contributor track)?

  I didn't realize the Etsy design team was bigger than Twitter's (that seems impossible, but wow if so). I've also never worked at Google, Square, Twitter, etc. so I can't speak to them.
  Actually, here, read Julie Zhuo's article on that exact topic. And imagine that Etsy is somewhere in the middle. :)
