The iOS extension has really made this so much better, been looking forward to it since iOS 8 came out. Well done, I think it’s a pretty killer app.

Is there any way of requesting Stache to be added to the iOS app Unread’s sharing list?

I’d be interested in hearing your story – how you handle support, what the demand to Stache has been like, how discounting or what marketing techniques have helped, and if possible at all an indication of how much revenue your apps make versus your consulting business? I hope to launch a Mac app soon, and I admire you guys for creating a Mac app as well as a iOS app and happy the Stache name is getting out there.

Thanks Patrick, much appreciated! We're planning to providing integration opportunities with Stache in the future. The Stache action extension should work with any app that ability to share URL's via the iOS action sheet.

We're currently writing an article about designing and building Stache. I'll be sure to add in some info on marketing and support. Best of luck with your Mac app!

Awesome, thanks guys! Also be interested in how you approached beta testing? I’m unsure how far to go with beta testing.

It might be worth reaching out to Unread (or other RSS readers) as it has its own in-built sharing list with apps I don’t use, such as Readability, Pinboard, Pocket. If you could get yourself as part of that list it might be a few extra new people who wonder what that ‘Stache’ is.

Yeah, we'll be cover beta testing there too. We don't go too far with it — family, friends, colleagues is a good start. We don't outsource (i.e. pay companies or individuals to test). Once the app is out in the wild it's a lot easier to recruit motivated users who really do give the app a thrashing.

We do plan to reach out to other devs but there's technical limitations with regard to screen-shotting pages at present which prevents full integration.
