I am so saddened by her experiences, and yet not at all surprised men have elevated her troll as some kind of folk hero. As a culture, we're really great at sweeping abuse under the rug, we give people like Mike Tyson cameos in movies because hey, nostalgia, that doesn't have anything to do with abuse! And yet every time we do that, we give people more power to abuse.
